Johann Jakob Wepfer Prize 2009 awarded to JP Mohr

The Johann Jakob Wepfer Prize  which has been awarded by the ESC Committee since 2005 for outstanding achievements in clinical work and basic stroke research, was this year awarded to the scientist Professor JP Mohr, New York, for his work in the field of stroke research. The laudation was presented by the Prof. M.G. Hennerici from the University Heidelberg, University Hospital Mannheim.
